Amber Iraeta – Amber Iraeta has been a SWE member since 2004 and has held a variety of roles both as a professional and student member.  She is a 2010 graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where she obtained her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.   She currently works as a R&D mechanical engineer at Bio-Rad Laboratories in Hercules, CA. Her hobbies include Improv Theater, running, and traveling.





  


Lindsay Kammeier – Lindsay joined the Leadership Coaching Committee in 2014. She works as an Assistant Engineer for Schaaf & Wheeler, which specializes in water resources civil design work in the San Francisco Bay Area. She graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a B.S. in Civil Engineering.  During her college years she was very involved with SWE, holding a section officer position for 4 years, and serving as Region B’s RCCE in FY13. She also mentored incoming female engineering freshmen, and is proud that several of her mentees became section officers as well.  Her hobbies include yoga, reading, baking, and music.




 Claudia Galván - Claudia has led product development at Oracle, Adobe and Microsoft reaching billions of people around the world. In the last few years she has focused on helping startups in Silicon Valley launch products internationally. Claudia is a community leader empowering women and Latinos in STEM. She is a former section president of Santa Clara Valley SWE, former Sr. Director at the Anita Borg Institute, Board Member at Notre Dame High School and mentor at the TechWomen program. She is currently a doctoral candidate at Drexel University researching strategies to increase the pipeline of women in STEM. She has been a recipient of many awards including Silicon Valley Women of Influence in 2015 and SWE Region A Distinguished Leader Award.



 Lesley Telford - Lesley is a Regulatory Affairs Specialist at Abbott Vascular in Santa Clara, working on worldwide regulatory submissions for Absorb BVS, a new and novel stenting technology. Lesley has worked at Abbott since 2011; she joined AV in 2013 after spending 2 years moving around the country as part of a Professional Development Program. She graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2011 with an M.S and B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, where she was heavily involved with SWE including serving as the section’s President in 2009-2010. Lesley has been a member of the Collegiate Leadership Coaching Committee since 2010, and has served as a CLCC in Regions B, H, and A. Lesley is currently the Professional Section Representative for SWE Santa Clara Valley Professional Section and has also served as Section Secretary. In her free time, Lesley enjoys crocheting, baking, and training for various races, including triathlons, bike rides, and open water swims.
